It's nothing really new, I've been using RC1 through 7 (skip a few here and there), so this is probably a fix for bugs I don't have and a not such a great fix for others I do have :D ... ANYWAY, two noticeable points here :

A nice little crowd announced it on P* (here, here, here and here :) ) . Guys, how about a "PT PHP Mongers" kind of thing starting huh? It has helped the shiny ones gain community :)
via Pedro Timóteo, the reborn of mmCache as eAccelerator (yeah yeah, I've been living under a rock, etc etc :D )

If only they had namespaces ... dang :) maybe in PHP6 (via Joel Alexandre)
